Bath Soaps is a Midcoast soap maker working out of Bath, Maine, handcrafting cold-process bar soaps with premium oils and butters. Each batch cures for at least four to six weeks through saponification, producing a firm, long-lasting bar. Founders Pam — an occupational therapy assistant — and Tomas, a builder, started the company in pursuit of skin that wouldn't feel stripped by Maine's long, dry winters. The line rotates with the seasons; recurring favorites include Balsam Pine, Black Salt & Cypress (with activated charcoal), Endless Galaxy, and a Coffee Stout Beer Soap with exfoliating grit. Bath Soaps appears at craft fairs and events throughout Greater Portland and the Midcoast.
