Elizabeth

Elizabeth is a French-inspired wine bar and restaurant from Alex Wight, opened at 47 Wharf Street in Portland in early 2026. The menu — from chefs Duncan Biddulph and Ashley Robinson — leans into classic French plates with a Maine seafood throughline: Oeuf Mayo with smoked salmon caviar, Jambon de Bayonne, Halibut en Papillote, and desserts like a soufflé with salted honey ice cream and a canelé with apricot, custard, and rum. A focused wine program, raw bar, and weekday oyster happy hour (4–5pm Tuesday through Friday) anchor the evening service. The intimate Wharf Street space is open Tuesday through Saturday from 4pm.
