
Penobscot riverfront brewery and 120-seat restaurant in Brewer — across the river from Bangor concerts, with pizza, burgers, and a second Machias location.
Opened in May 2016 by Chris and Barbara Morley at 15 Hardy Street, a 6,800-square-foot riverfront brewery and 120-seat restaurant directly across the Penobscot River from Bangor's Waterfront Concerts venue. The 20-barrel Deutsche brew house produces craft beers paired with pizzas and burgers; named after sailor John Mason, founder of New Hampshire. A second location opened in Machias in 2024.
