Mere Point Oyster Company

Mere Point Oyster Company is an independent food business based in Midcoast Maine. Founded in 2014 by two Brunswick families — the Devereauxs and the Nivens, two dads and four sons — the farm grows oysters in the clear waters of Maquoit, Middle, and Mere Point Bays using floating cages and tumblers that produce deep-cupped, briny shells. The operation is committed to supporting Maine's working waterfront and offers oyster farm tours, raw bar catering, and overnight shipping nationwide.
