Silk by Christopher is a designer's silk-scarf studio at 87 Mill Road, Studio #4 in Cumberland Center, Maine. Christopher captures details from his travels — old trucks to rippling brooks, adobe walls to boat hulls — in photographs that become design inspiration: a splash of color, a stream, a swash, perhaps a little magic. The scarves are designed to accent a current wardrobe; contemporary and sophisticated. Two forms: square satin silk scarves (~35-36 inches) with hand-rolled hems at $145, and long satin silk scarves (~24 x 72 inches with double-sided printing and hand-rolled hems) at $165.
