Wicks Forge is an independent kitchen and home goods business based in Greater Portland, Maine. Nicholas Wicks Moreau founded the Pownal blacksmith shop in 2013 after apprenticing under master blacksmith Jim Whitson in Scotland — drawing on five generations of family metalworking that began with his great-great-grandfather, who worked on the Statue of Liberty. The forge produces hand-forged kitchenware, garden tools, fire accessories, and architectural hardware in stainless and mild steel.
